Born in Częstochowa, Poland
Paulina Penc – she graduated in 2013 of the Warsaw Academy of Fine Arts, did her masters studies with an honorary at painting studio of Leon Tarasewicz – one of the most important contemporary painters in the world. Her diploma presentations were rated highly. She is a multimedia artist. Creates progressively, commenting the found reality. Using modern image culture, she converts it into her ideas painting. She is courageous in her artistic statements and her own comments to them. Has a high awareness of the processes and changes taking place in the arts. She‘ s an artist extremely active, exhibited already in London, Warsaw, Paris. In her recent paintings refers to Glitch Art, speaking in terms of cultural changes, personality disorders associated with the virtual world. “Nowadays the semantics of the cybernetic language defines human emotions. Human is determined by its software, which can generate a greater risk of error in its daily actions” – says the artist. She creates a short video, moving photos, she’s a singer, creates a sound experimental, makes her living dubbing, also she created in the studio of Grzegorz Kowalski – precursor of critical art in Poland. About the artist already appeared several publications, among others in the Madrid cultural magazine, letraBrick.
